I don't have any of my really early works (done in the Amiga days), but I did dig up some of my first models and renderings I did with 3DS Max. Everybody has to start somewhere right? Here goes... Click on any image for larger picture.

This is my first 3DSMax model I ever made. Just a simple goblet. Rather than creating an S shaped spline next to a pivot and using lathe (which creates a lot of triangles), I actually made it from a single cylinder which I basically resized, extruded, enlarged, and beveled in (only a few hundred triangles until I added smoothing).

Shortly after my first model, comes the standard "fruit bowl" painting. Everyone has to do one of these. I used this opportunity to familiarize myself with the raytracing abilities. Fun to do - see if you can spot the "Smiley Face"?

Next two (more recent) images are some examples from my Grasslands kit. This is a simple summer scene.

In this one I reduced the grass significantly, and raised the water table for a more alien terrain effect. Simple to do (especially with Grasslands template) and still a very basic picture.

This is an alien space ships scene I put together. I started with the Grasslands and addes 6 of my Space Ships (from the space ships collection). I was going to go back and add more detail, but I think its okay so I posted it "as is".

This is a model I created of a somewhat 'toony looking Frankenstein for a game.
